Ian Leung

  • Ian Leung is a seasoned producer, curator, and arts administrator with leadership roles at institutions including the Hong Kong Arts Festival, Hong Kong Arts Centre, and currently the Hong Kong Dance Alliance. For over a decade, he has taught postgraduate courses in arts management, fundraising, and audience development across universities in Hong Kong.

    Ian’s career began unconventionally—trained in quantity surveying, he eventually earned an MA in Arts Administration from Goldsmiths, University of London. His productions, such as Murder in San José and The Truth About Lying, have received critical acclaim, alongside large-scale public art projects like Via North Point and Re: Tai Kok Tsui.

    A two-time international scholarship and fellowship recipient, Ian participated in the International Leadership Program in Visual Arts Management at NYU, Deusto Business School, and Yale University. His work explores interdisciplinary practice, sustainable arts development, and transformative leadership through Artful Thinking.

Christy Ho

  • Experienced arts administrator specializing in strategic planning, multidisciplinary arts production, and audience development across various arts disciplines. A proven leader in curating and producing large-scale programmes that engage diverse communities—from families and youth to seniors and individuals with special needs—breaking barriers to make the arts accessible and transformative.

    Core Expertise: Arts programme management, cultural exchange, audience development, and creative mentorship. Christy holds an MBA in Arts Administration from Paris and was awarded a scholarship by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council in recognition of her contributions to advancing the arts.

    At Sophos Alliance, Christy combines strategic insight with a mentor’s heart, guiding emerging talents to navigate the arts landscape while nurturing not just skills, but soulful creativity. Nicole Li

  • Emerging Production Manager, Producer, Curator, and Video Designer specializing in bridging theatrical productions, multimedia performances, and large-scale concerts through a unique fusion of technical aesthetics and narrative vision.

    A first-class honors graduate in Arts and Production Management from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Nickole is recognized for her "surgical artistic coordination" and "story-driven technical integration." Awarded Best Individual Achievement (Production Manager) at the 8th Wuzhen Theatre Festival, she has contributed to flagship platforms like Hong Kong Dance Exchange 2024 and Shekou Theatre Festival's New Writing Project.

    Nickole's practice spans radically different scales:

    ▸ Theatre Productions: Served as Stage Manager for THÉÂTRE DE LA FEUILLE 

    's "Book of Mountains and Seas – The Fates of Mountains and Rivers" and Zuni Icosahedron's dark comedy productions, excelling in translating avant-garde concepts into executable formats

    ▸ Commercial Shows: Coordinated Jason Chan's "LIFE IS LIVE" Tour Concert, Justin Lo's Asia Tour Concert, and YAN TING's WHO IS YAN TING LIVE 2024, mastering entertainment industry logistics

    ▸ Visual Storytelling: Designed immersive visuals for BYEJACK's concert and Hong Kong Dunhuang Orchestra, specializing in stage and visual aesthetics

    As a founding member of Sophos Alliance, Nickole leverages her dual experience in nonprofit arts and commercial entertainment to develop pragmatic frameworks for emerging practitioners—focusing not just on the "how" of production, but the "why" behind each creative decision.

Vivi Xiang

  • Guzheng Teacher, Guzheng Performer, Stage Management Planner.

    Vivi graduated from the School of Music and Dance at Shenzhen University with a Bachelor's degree, majoring in Guzheng performance and minoring in dance choreography and musical. She later pursued a Master's degree in Music Education at the Education University of Hong Kong.

    Vivi has experience in music education for different age groups and has participated in the production, rehearsal, and performance of various original musicals and operas, holding different positions, and has a unique understanding of stage art:

    She has worked as a Guzheng teacher for the art activity courses in the junior high school of Lixiang Middle School in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, a Guzheng teacher at Shenzhen Changqing Elderly University, and an adult Guzheng and music theory teacher at Buni Bear Music Space. During her teaching career, she has received honors such as the Gold Award in the 2nd Shenzhen Cultural and Art Exhibition and Performance Competition, and the First Prize in the Solo Group of the 2nd Academy Awards — China (Hong Kong) Instrumental Competition.

    Served as a costume assistant in the musical "MAMMA MIA! ," responsible for the integration and changing of actors' costumes in different scenes during the performance;

    Served as a director assistant in the original musical "Art Inn No. 7," responsible for the coordination of cast and crew, rehearsal arrangements, and script revisions during rehearsals, and also served as the sound control during performances;

    Served as a stage supervisor in the original educational family musical "Self's World," responsible for the coordination of lighting, sound, and scenery during rehearsals and performances;

    Served as a stagehand in the original large-scale opera "Pioneer," responsible for the management and coordination of large props and costumes during performances.
